Spain

Spain
The ultra-oaky, powerful wines that used to dominate the Spanish wine scene were put to bed in the early noughties as a new generation of winemakers shunned the styles of wines that had made Spain a global player in terms of wine production. These days, Spanish wines across the board taste more refined and progressive than their predecessors, in part due to the willing uptake of new technical equipment alongside the desire for more expressive wines.
