Messias Vinho Verde Branco
Don't be put off by the shape of the bottle, Messias Vinho Verde is just as it should be...light and crisp, with a gentle sparkling character. The design of the bottle is derived from that of the field bottle (or canteen) which were manufactured with a flattened shape for practical purposes - to keep the bottle from rolling away on uneven ground, making this the perfect picnic wine!
This slightly off-dry white wine is made from grapes harvested in the Vinho Verde DOC area. It has gentle floral-peach aromas on the nose, leading to a fresh, tangy acidity in mouth. It's an ideal wine pairing for salads, seafood and Asian cuisine, and can be served alone or as an aperitif.Learn More

2013 LBV Port, Messia
Regular Vintage port is aged in wood for 20 months or so before being transferred to bottles for further ageing, while LBV (Late Bottled Vintage), as the name suggests, is bottled later - between four and six years later.
This is a relatively long period to age and in this time the port matures and settles down so that when it's bottled, it's ready to drink. Also, you don't need to decant an LBV and can serve it by the glass for a couple of weeks after opening the bottle.
Messias LBV has delicious black fruit aromas on the nose with notes of intense blackberry at the front, in the mouth there's good concentration and firm tannins.Learn More£19.50
