    From a medal-winning producer, a deep-coloured and solid meaty red from South-East of the Bordeaux region. Bright ruby in colour with aromas of red fruits. A tannic wine that is full in the mouth but not too aggressive. Will accompany meat dishes in sauce and Mediterranean foods very well.

  2. Cotes de Saint Mont En la Tradition, Plaimont, 2016

    Fresh Tannat grape, blended with Pinenc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Black fruit and soft spicy notes, this wine is well balanced with well-integrated tannins. The vineyards of Saint Mont are among some of the oldest in France. The harvest is still hand picked and has been a very popular wine with many of our regular customers.

  3. Chevalier d'Antras Madiran, 2014

    From Producteurs Plaimont, this deep and dark purple in colour wine has delicious strong fruit flavours or cherries, red berries and blackcurrant with subtle earthy tones. Produced with a minimum content of 40% Tannat grapes and complimented by the inclusion of Pinenc, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon to produce a smooth and delightful wine.

  4. Chateau de la Coustarelle Cahors 'Cuvee Prestige', 2015

    This Grand Cuvee Prestige sees a 20-day fermentation period, after which aging takes place in oak barrels, a fifth of which is new each year. The 3,000 case production is bottled unfiltered. This blend of 90% Malbec and 10% Tannat shows a deep purple color. Lots of vanilla on the nose buttresses substantial dark fruit. Medium to full-body. Plenty of ripe blackberry fruit on the palate, along with a hint of licorice. Fine tannin is extremely well-integrated on the finish.
