This Côtes du Rhône Villages wine is a very stylish blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan which has concentrated aromas of black cherry, cassis and spices on the nose following on to a full-bodied palate. Domaine Lafond, an award winning producer, manually harvests and hand selects the grapes to ensure the highest quality and careful management of the vines. The grapes are vatted for an extended period to obtain soft tannins, then in order to soften the tannins, the wine is put in new barrels for 3 to 4 months.
