La Malinche, also known as Malintzin, is a legendary figure depicted on the label and recognized as a symbol of Mexico. The Nahua people, part of the Mesoamerican community, lived in South America from the 15th to the 16th centuries until Spanish colonization. Legends say La Malinche acted as a translator between the local community and Spanish conquistadors during battles. Legend also has it that she and the conquistadors had a son, considered the first "mestizo" (of European and South American descent). La Malinche's story, surrounded by legend, has made her a controversial figure – seen both as a symbol of betrayal and as the mother of the new Mexican race.

La Malinche Silver is made by fermenting and distilling cooked blue agave heart juices, which are extracted when the plant reaches optimal maturity, no earlier than 8 years. It is infused with toasted agave, mint, and citrus tones, along with a hint of black pepper. The taste is smooth, with a subtly simmering spicy flavour of aromatic herbs shining through.
