Mermuys Cyrus Rose Champagne
Mermuys Cyrus Rosé Champagne is produced by Les Roches Blanches, a winery that began more than 20 years ago in 1994 with a young and dynamic entrepreneur, Nicolas Gueusquin. In 1996 this fledgling company bought old cellars and buildings in the centre of the village of Oiry, and began the production and handling of its own champagne. Steady expansion due to increase in production and sales year by year required the construction of a more spacious building equipped with a new winery in 2005 and again in 2012. Today the winery is modern with thermo-regulated stainless steel vats and underground chalk cellars.
This fine, dry, very well-balanced rosé Champagne is a beautiful pink colour with coppery hue and aromas of red fruits with smoky accent. In the mouth, Mermuys Cyrus Rosé offers an alliance of sensations of maturity yet with an obvious freshness.
