Silly Belgian Beer
Biere Abbaye de Forest Metal Gift Pack 75cl
The Abbaye de Forest tickles the taste buds with fruity impressions of raisins that culminate in a pleasantly zesty, subtly bitter finish. It’s a blonde abbey-style beer characterised by a touch of hops, a good balance of sweet and bitter flavours and a rather pronounced character. The name of the beer refers to the Benedictine Abbaye de Forest that existed from 1106 until 1764, when the abbey was destroyed by a fire. Also, there is a cheese maker from Thoricourt (a small town near to the brewery), who produces a 'beer cheese' using Silly's very-own Abbaye de Forest. Presented in a printed metal tin. Biere Scotch Silly, Chardonnay Barrel Fermented 75cl
A beautiful version of Silly Scotch aged in Chardonnay barrels. A clear deep mahogany with fiery amber reflections with a thin and stable creamy white head. The nose is delicate on oak woodiness and vinous from the barrel with more pronounced aromas of complex sweetness and fruity and spicy notes. This scotch has strong and perfectly balanced flavours with dominance of caramel, brown sugar, toffee with hints of hazel nuts and soft maltiness with great alcohol integration. A classic Scotch with a interesting edge that would pair well with soups and stews or simply enjoyed on its own.Learn More£12.50
