  1. Biere Double Enghien Blonde 75cl

The original Double Enghien that was brewed by Tennstedt-Decroes, in Enghien, was an amber saison. When Brasserie de Silly bought the brewery, they changed it into a straight blond beer, as they already had a saison – the Saison de Silly. Several variants of the Double have since been introduced. The top-fermented, regional style beer has spicy and hoppy aromas that strike first with a shrug of acidity on the tongue and a nice dry bitter aftertaste. It’s a well-balanced blonde beer, in which no ingredient is overpowering.

  2. Biere Abbaye de Forest Metal Gift Pack 75cl

The Abbaye de Forest tickles the taste buds with fruity impressions of raisins that culminate in a pleasantly zesty, subtly bitter finish. It’s a blonde abbey-style beer characterised by a touch of hops, a good balance of sweet and bitter flavours and a rather pronounced character. The name of the beer refers to the Benedictine Abbaye de Forest that existed from 1106 until 1764, when the abbey was destroyed by a fire. Also, there is a cheese maker from Thoricourt (a small town near to the brewery), who produces a 'beer cheese' using Silly's very-own Abbaye de Forest. Presented in a printed metal tin. Bronze Medal: Australian International Beer Awards 2009 (Abbey Style, Double and Triple category)
