A fantastic, aged baby Barolo style.
Brilliant ruby red colour with varying intensity. Intense bouquet with flowers and wild fruit, slightly spicy. Superb balance and harmony on the palate, full-bodied with noble elegance. Soft and pleasant tannins. Nice feeling on the palate. Long finish with pleasant almondy aftertaste.

The Piedmont (or Piemonte) wine region is Italy’s largest – the thick fogs of the region known as nebbia, giving rise to Piedmont’s signature grape variety, Nebbiolo. Found in the famous Barolo and Barbaresco wines, the difficult grape produces some truly spectacular wines when handled correctly. Piedmont is more than a one trick pony though, and other red grapes fare particularly well in the region, notably Barbera and Dolcetto. Cortese is the main white grape of the region and goes into the wonderfully floral and finessed Gavi wines.
