  • Cabernet Sauvignon, Armonia

Armonia, meaning harmony in Italian, shows the heritage of the Hugo Casanova winery whose founders arrived in Chile at the end of the 19th Century. This Cabernet Sauvignon is fruity and medium bodied with black fruit flavours and vanilla notes on the finish - great with food or as an aperitif. Learn More
  • Aglianico Beneventano, Bellamico

    1 Review(s)
From vineyards in the Benevento region of Campania, Aglianico is one of the higher-quality red-wine grapes found in southern Italy. Greek in origin it has been grown in Italy since the time of the ancient Romans. It is thought to have been planted in this region as early as the seventh century BC. It flourishes in volcanic soil of which there is no shortage around Naples. It is a late ripening grape usually harvested in October or early November.

If you're a fan of rustic, earth-driven wines you'll love this. Quite full bodied, it has a great balance with subtle fruit flavours and earthy, tarry and chocolate characteristics. Learn More

  • Nero di Troia Puglia IGT, Rocca Estate

    1 Review(s)

Rocca has again chosen to work magic with an ancient Puglian grape variety rarely seen in the rest of the wine growing world. And for this has been rewarded with a Gold Medal at the Berliner Wein Trophy 2015. They no doubt found the Nero di Troia to be a well-balanced wine with a fruity nose with notes of ripe fruit and a palate of spices and tobacco. Velvety tannins and good body complete the trophy winner.

  • Rioja Crianza, Bodegas Carlos Serres

    2 Review(s)

Carlos Serres Crianza is a great savoury classic from the famous Haro bodegas. It has deliciously tempting aromas including mature red fruit, spices and delicate licorice hints while the palate is complex, well structured, fresh and fruity. Overall the aromas and flavours preserve a perfect balance between its fruity origins and the maturity achieved through ageing (14 months in a combination of american and French oak barrels).

A perfect match for Mediterranean cuisine such as fried fish or vegetable dishes, rice, pasta, pulses, red and white meats and even cheeses.

  • Chateau Queyssard Bordeaux Superieur

The first wine from Chateau Queyssard is a typical Bordeaux blend with the soft and round qualities of Merlot, spice and fruitiness from Cabernet Franc and structure and density from Cabernet Sauvignon. With a history dating back to 1890 this family owned Chateau has gone through many changes throughout the years, from a focus on fruit production (pears, apples, plums) and cattle farming, to 1998 when all 48 acres were planted with vines. Now, after updating the cellars the farm abides by the rules of 'agriculture raisonnee' which protects the land, keeping it healthy and as free of pesticides as possible.

This classic Bordeaux draws you in with its beautiful colour and tempting aromas of red fruits. On the palate it is silky and structured with red fruit notes and balanced tannin. Well suited to steak, steak tartare, lamb, duck breast dishes and while it's drinking well now, it has potential to age well for another 5 years.
