  • Rioja Gran Reserva, Bodegas Carlos Serres

    1 Review(s)
A well-rounded, harmonious Gran Reserva that has been aged for 36 months in the barrel, with a very deep and elegant bouquet. It has a clean, complex nose. This is a powerful and full-bodied red from the famous Serres estate in Haro.

'Peppery, earthy and unique, this is a sensitive soul in deep contemplation. The balance is there, as well as the juiciness and brightness. Not a commercial style, but a wine of good persistence. Drink 2017-2023' 2008 vintage. (Decanter Magazine March 2017)

  • Onomastica Tinto, Rioja Reserva, Bodegas Carlos Serres

    1 Review(s)

A very limited edition, harmonious Reserva, with a deep, elegant bouquet.

Aromas of black fruit, vanilla and dark chocolate with hints of spices and mineral notes. Magnificent structure in the mouth; powerful, vigorous, tasty and wide. Very complex powerful finish from this famous estate in Haro. Suits food matches like roast kid and suckling pig, braised meats and aged cheeses, and a surprisingly good match for dark chocolate too.

Graciously balanced and open, this Rioja is showing maturity in a delicate gossamer style. It will be a great charmer with its energy, velvet tannins and attenuated fruit. Hedonistic character. Drink 2017-2022 Decanter Magazine Premium Red Rioja Panel Tasting March 2017 (2011 vintage)
