This unspoilt area has a cool climate, high winds, low growing-season rainfall and relatively poor soils, not terribly appealing to us but perfect for the vines. The resulting grape harvest is low yield, further intensifying the fruit. The palate is intense and complex with ripe blackberry and cherry.
