Domaine Du Tariquet

Domaine Du Tariquet

Since 1912, Le Tariquet has been the cradle of an entire family. First of all the home of Pierre Grassa impassioned with beautiful Armagnacs and then the home of their children Mae and Yves, both fervent wine makers. Together they developed the Estate to create Eau de Vie, Bas-Armagnacs and a range of top quality wines. Le Tariquet nourishes itself on its fertile soils giving the finest aromas to its fruits and declaring the victory of Gascony where wines and Bas-Armagnacs have been elevated to some of the best in their class.

Magnificent intensity of this open wine with floral and citrus aromas and beautiful nuances of exotic fruits. The taste is round, full of ripe fruits, riche in sensations, enhanced by a frank and citrusy finish. A perfect example of lightness and balance that makes this wine a real companion of thirst and pleasure.

"Produced at the largest family owned vineyard in France, this is a simple, fruity, immediately attractive wine. There are both citrus and more tropical fruit flavours in the wine, alongside a herbal, grassy touch from the Sauvignon Blanc and Colombard in the blend." Wine Enthusiast (2015 vintage)

  • Domaine du Tariquet Cotes de Gascogne, Les Premieres Grives

    1 Review(s)
In Gascony, the onset of winter heralds the arrival of the first thrushes (premieres grives), eager for their share of the season’s pickings. Harvested in late autumn, mature grapes packed with sweetness and pleasure produce an elegant wine, with fine typicity. Great fullness on the palate, with delicious tropical flavours, sustained by freshness. Balanced sweetness leads to fresh grapes on the finish - an instant delight. Learn More
  • Domaine du Tariquet Cotes de Gascogne 'Les 4 Reserve'

Aged in French oak for a year before bottling, this blend consists of four grape varieties, each of which reveals its own aromas on contact with the wood. The result is a whole host of complex, mellow notes ranging from fruity flavours and oaky vanilla to yellow peaches and tropical fruit. Together, they create a wine with good complexity and structure, in which the mellow oak is discreet. Serve slightly chilled, as an aperitif or with a meal. Excellent with foie gras, fish, poultry, white meat and cheese. Learn More
