  1. Biere Silly Saison 75cl

The Saison (farmhouse ale) is a humble regional beer style that was brewed in the quiet winter months and satisfied the thirsts of farmers and fieldworkers out in the fields in the busy summer. 30 years ago, this style was unknown and only appreciated by older drinkers from the area where it was brewed. Now it’s really popular among beer aficionados and the Saison de Silly is considered one of the best. It stands out from the classic ‘saisons’ through its amber colour, a fruity aroma, and zesty touches, with a hint of caramel compounding its light bitterness. It’s has a unique, light taste but at the same time subtle touches of sweets and fruit. A zesty, refreshing beer that calls out for another one.

  2. Biere Double Enghien Blonde 75cl

The original Double Enghien that was brewed by Tennstedt-Decroes, in Enghien, was an amber saison. When Brasserie de Silly bought the brewery, they changed it into a straight blond beer, as they already had a saison – the Saison de Silly. Several variants of the Double have since been introduced. The top-fermented, regional style beer has spicy and hoppy aromas that strike first with a shrug of acidity on the tongue and a nice dry bitter aftertaste. It’s a well-balanced blonde beer, in which no ingredient is overpowering.

The aromas of fresh flower blossoms and lime predominate this wine that in the mouth express its soft pallet and sweet tannins. The equilibrium between the citrus and boysenberry fruit show perfect integration. The finish leaves a sweet lime aftertaste.

  4. Biere Scotch Silly, Chardonnay Barrel Fermented 75cl

A beautiful version of Silly Scotch aged in Chardonnay barrels. A clear deep mahogany with fiery amber reflections with a thin and stable creamy white head. The nose is delicate on oak woodiness and vinous from the barrel with more pronounced aromas of complex sweetness and fruity and spicy notes. This scotch has strong and perfectly balanced flavours with dominance of caramel, brown sugar, toffee with hints of hazel nuts and soft maltiness with great alcohol integration. A classic Scotch with a interesting edge that would pair well with soups and stews or simply enjoyed on its own.

  5. Mission Estate VS Pinot Noir, 2016

Mission's Estate has chosen their very best grapes grown in the Awatere Valley for their Vineyard Selection Pinot Noir. They were selected from a portion of the vineyard that was carefully managed with fruit thinning to encourage optimal ripeness and flavour development.

It shows good concentration of bright red cherry, forest floor and wild berry aromas, more fruit on the palate with a soft, rich mouthfeel. The wine has a fine structure and really fantastic fruit intensity, supple mouthfeel and a great finish. Drinking really well now but with potential to age well over the next 5-10 years.

"Garnet-red colour with some depth, lighter on the rime with some bricking. The nose is soft and ethereally full with a broad array of aromatic red berry fruits along with restrained notes of savoury dried herbs, elements of earth and red floral nuances." Raymond Chan

  6. Castello di Verrazzano, Chianti Classico DOCG, 2015

Verrazzano's Chianti Classico, like others in the Greve area of Chianti have typically more concentrated flavours than in Castellina, Gaiole or Castelnuovo Berardegna. However, this is a classic Chianti, deep ruby red in colour with aromas of mature fruits like cherry and blackberry. Light in body with a little oak (from 18 months in barrel) with fine grained tannins and pleasant bursts of juicy wild cherry, cinnamon and a hint of star anise.

An Organic wine that pairs well with Tuscan appetisers, red meat and game.

Sir Robin of Locksley Distilled Artisan Gin (ABV 40.5)
This Sheffield gin has up-front juniper with more delicate aromas of elderflower bubbling through. It is deliciously smooth and round on the palate with warm cassia notes soothed with dandelion. Pink grapefruit adds an underlying sweetness and lingering citrus finish.

Gin MG, The Extra Dry London Gin (ABV 40.0)
GIN MG, created in 1940, has been made by following the traditional London Dry Gin method that does without using cloying sugars that mask juniper flavours. It's unique as the only botanical used in MG Gin is juniper berries picked from the distillery's own trees in the Teruel region. These berries are hand-picked in October and re-selected again in Vilanova before distillation.

The Enchlinville Irish Pot Still Gin (ABV 46.0)
From the Lecale Peninsula in Northern Ireland comes the country’s first premium single-estate pot still gin. Echlinville Distillery grow the barley used for the base spirit on the estate and it's malted on a farm close by. To give it a unique flavour they've chosen local botanicals, such as gorse bush petals and Strangford Lough seaweed. The result is a gin with the essence of the land and sea.
