Daniel Bouju Cognac is a family run affair based in the village of Saint Preuil in the Charente. Their vines stretch across 14 hectares in the famous Grande Champagne region. The Bouju family have wine making history that goes back to the 19th century and their expertise is flagrant from the quality of the sumptuous cognacs they produce.
Daniel Bouju Extra Cognac is a pure Grande Champagne eau de vie. Spicy notes of clove, cinnamon and nutmeg with subtle hints of vanilla and candied prune that gives it its wonderful length on the palate. Charentais rancio is present as only found in cognacs over 10 years of aging which adds pleasant nutty oak and spicy notes. Delightful delicate bouquet and noteworthy harmonious balance.

Daniel Bouju is a highly respected producer of fine Cognacs and his products can be found in some of the finest food venues in the world. Priding themselves on traditional craftmanship dating back to 1805 the family apply strict standards to their production. The Cognacs are aged in Limousin oak casks on the property in Saint-Preuil, located in the heart of the Grande Champagne.
