Bottega il Vino Dell'Amore Petalo Manzoni Moscato Spumante Rose
The Bottega Petalo Il Vino dell’Amore Manzoni Moscato Rose Spumante shines brilliantly with a vibrant straw-yellow hue and delicate pink reflections. On the nose, it reveals floral, fruity aromas, and the distinctive fragrance of Muscat grapes. This sparkling wine is sweet, gently alcoholic, harmonious, and refined, with subtle fruity notes.
Perfect for celebrations and special occasions, it pairs wonderfully with a wide range of classic Italian and international desserts.
In the early 1900s, Professor Luigi Manzoni at the historic School of Enology in Conegliano conducted extensive and meticulous selection work. This effort led to the development of several grape crosses, including the Manzoni 13.0.25. The unusual acronym reflects the cataloging system used in the professor's field notebooks. This particular cross is a hybrid of Raboso and Moscato.
The sparkling wine made from these grapes originates in the Province of Treviso, within the renowned Prosecco wine region, celebrated for its rich winemaking tradition. The grape skins undergo a 24-hour maceration process with the must, after which selected yeasts are added directly to initiate the sparkling fermentation. The resulting wine boasts the fresh and aromatic qualities of its original grapes, featuring a low alcohol content and a pleasantly sweet flavour.
