Chartrente Chardonnay from Rocca Estate is a product of the sunny and warm Sicily in the deepest south of Italy.
It has an elegant pale yellow colour with greenish reflections.
It offers an elegant fruity fragrance of golden apple, banana and pineapple.
Ideal as an aperitif or with seafood, sushi and mixed salads.
Angelo Rocca
At the end of XIX century, Francesco Rocca started his historical business by selling loose wine. In 1936 his son Angelo enhanced the wine production and built a cellar in Nardò, Apulia. In the 1960's the first bottling line was bought and thus started the distribution of products under the Rocca brand. Today, Ernesto Rocca (the founder's grandson) shares responsibility with his sons Paolo, Marco, Luca and Matteo who help run the family business, a business which also includes a construction company and a leading trot horse stud farm.
