An unoaked Chardonnay with intense aromas of ripe nectarines and peaches. The palate is spicier, with some oaky notes showing through. This is a light to medium bodied wine with lingering flavours of fresh green apples and citrus fruits.
Barren Jack was the original name for the dam built in 1828 to bring water to the Riverina desert. This area now flourishes as one of Australia's premier grape growing regions. Barren Jack wines are the reward of this wonderful foresight - combining good soils, sunshine, water and individuals who are passionate about the future.
