- Buy 2 for £9.95 each and save 5%
Verdeca is a relatively rare grape variety found mostly in Puglia and historically used in the production of Vermouth. However Angelo Rocca has seen fit to make this 100% Verdeca which showcases the rich, exotic fruits and citrus aromas and full-flavoured, fruity palate with a subtle hint of tropical fruits.
Angelo Rocca
At the end of XIX century, Francesco Rocca started his historical business by selling loose wine. In 1936 his son Angelo enhanced the wine production and built a cellar in Nardò, Apulia. In the 1960's the first bottling line was bought and thus started the distribution of products under the Rocca brand. Today, Ernesto Rocca (the founder's grandson) shares responsibility with his sons Paolo, Marco, Luca and Matteo who help run the family business, a business which also includes a construction company and a leading trot horse stud farm.
