Rocca, Nero di Troia Puglia IGT
- Buy 2 for £10.50 each and save 16%
Rocca has again chosen to work magic with an ancient Puglian grape variety rarely seen in the rest of the wine growing world. And for this has been rewarded with a Gold Medal at the Berliner Wein Trophy 2015. They no doubt found the Nero di Troia to be a well-balanced wine with a fruity nose with notes of ripe fruit and a palate of spices and tobacco. Velvety tannins and good body complete the trophy winner.

Angelo Rocca
At the end of XIX century, Francesco Rocca started his historical business by selling loose wine. In 1936 his son Angelo enhanced the wine production and built a cellar in Nardò, Apulia. In the 1960's the first bottling line was bought and thus started the distribution of products under the Rocca brand. Today, Ernesto Rocca (the founder's grandson) shares responsibility with his sons Paolo, Marco, Luca and Matteo who help run the family business, a business which also includes a construction company and a leading trot horse stud farm.
