A charming, light and fruity Macon Villages. The nose is citrus and inviting with grapefruit & white acacia flowers aromas. The wine is wonderfully crisp and fresh with an appetizing minerality. The finish is rich and refreshing, and with notes of butter and green almonds. A perfect companion for pork (both cold and hot) or white seafood. Also a good match for goat cheese and brilliant as an aperitif with nothing but good taste in the glass.
Domaine Jean Touzot
Frederic Touzot, is a third generation winemaker who started this 11 hectare Macconais property in 2001. The vineyards are mainly planted with Chardonnay in the municipality of Martailly-les-Brancion. The very rocky soil is of a clay-lime type with a thick layer of white marl.
