Erasmus Family Reserve
Erasmus Family Reserve is an artful blend of Syrah and Grenache, complemented by smaller amounts of Mourvedre and Viognier. This well-balanced combination creates a wine of remarkable complexity, offering depth and layered flavours. Syrah brings bold dark fruit, peppery spice, and a firm structure, while Grenache adds finesse and vibrant red fruit notes. Mourvèdre enriches the blend with earthy tones and weight, and Viognier lifts the aroma with delicate floral and stone fruit accents.
The wine opens with an alluring aroma of dark berries, ripe plums, and warm spices, gently accented by a hint of oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with plush tannins and balanced acidity that carry through to a long, elegant finish.
