Dark and generous with complex aromas of dried cherry, mint, licorice, cedar and tobacco alongside hints of white and black pepper. Medium-bodied on the palate with fine grain tannins and a long finish.

Chateau Meyney is located in the St. Estèphe appellation of Bordeaux, with a 50-hectare estate where the vines are between 35 and 40 years old on average. The vineyard is planted with 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. The soil is composed of Garonne gravel with a clay subsoil, ideal for these grape varieties. In keeping with Médoc tradition, the grapes are handpicked, carefully sorted, and then fermented in stainless steel and concrete vats for 30 days. The wine is then aged in barrels, 40% of which are new, to enhance its complexity.
