The Cote Rotie "Rose Poupre" comes from a plot located in the "Cote-Rozier". The vines are planted in the hollow of a natural amphitheater facing south on a soil formed of brown shale, rich in iron oxide. The south orientation and the low walls that hold the earth of this plot give a warm and protected micro climate for the vines.
This wine has great minerality with power has great potential for ageing. It develops nice spicy notes on the nose and silky tannins on the dark fruit palate of cassis, blackberries and kirsch. Pair with beef or game.
