Confluentia, Muscadet Sevre et Maine Sur Lie, Gunther Chereau, 2020
The vineyard is located at the confluence of the Sèvre and Maine, on a south facing slope of 15 degrees. The soil has a metamorphic origin: gneiss with two micas and garnet, covered with a thin soil.
Vinified on Lies for 6 months, in underground glass tanks, typical of the Nantes vineyards.
The terroir brings finesse and elegance. A nose with white fruits, grapefruit. Flinty aromas and mineral palate. Very nice length in the mouth. Bold and round with a nice balance.
Drink with seafood, fresh water fish, select cheeses, or as an aperitif.
