Chateau du Coing St Fiacre, Comte de Saint Hubert, Muscadet Sevre et Maine Sur Lie
This wine comes from 100 year old vines situated at the confluence of the Sevre and Maine rivers. Its golden colour with green tints shelters a refined vegetal elegance comprising aromas of roasted coffee and passion-fruit. After three years on its lees, its mineral structure makes it a with with potential for laying down. A wine of perfect balance and well preserved youthfulness. Ideal with shellfish and fish with sauce.
Chateau du Coing St Fiacre
The "Terroir" of the Chateau du Coing is one of the oldest in the Nantes region. Indeed the vineyard was cultivated as early as the roman period. The current property dates from the 15th century. In the 18th century, jean du Coing and Isabelle Pantin suffered at the Guillotine but the rest of the family escaped to America where decendants are still living.
