This great classic is born from a selection of the best Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes. Vivacious ruby red colour tending to garnet with ageing. Intense and characteristic bouquet, fruity with violet notes. Round and fruity taste balanced by ageing in traditional cask. Super ripe fruitiness and a soft easy-feel taste are the characteristics of our Chianti Superiore. Perfect companion to roasts, Pasta dishes with tomato sauce and Mediterranean salads.

Perhaps the most recognised region of Italy when it comes to wine, Tuscany is home to some of the world’s oldest wineries and boasts a barnstorming collection of some of the most-loved wines on the planet. It is suggested that the Sangiovese grape – the signature grape of the Tuscany wine region – used to grow in the wild here as far back as the 4th century B.C., but the undulating green hills and Mediterranean climate make this area of Italy ripe for growing many kinds of grapes, including international varieties. Perhaps best known for the big bold reds of Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and Chianti made from Sangiovese along with the Super Tuscan blends, Tuscany wine offers rich flavours and high quality in almost all of the wines from the region.

Where possible all orders placed before 2.00pm are despatched on the same day of ordering subject to stock availability. All orders are despatched using a next working day carrier service, however we can not guarantee next working day delivery as there may be circumstances beyond our control. If you are not in to sign for your delivery the carrier will post a card with contact details for you to arrange to collect your parcel from the carriers nearest depot or to organise a re-delivery that is convenient to you.

Deliveries of higher value items will require a signature and deliveries that are requested to be left without signature are made at the risk of the customer.

FREE DELIVERY is available on orders with a total value over £120 to addresses within the mainland UK.

Orders not qualifying for FREE DELIVERY will be charged the standard delivery of £6.95.

Deliveries are made using a next working day service for orders placed before 2.00pm Mon-Fri.
