Antoine Garin was a notable New Zealand Marist leader, educator and pioneer winemaker.
Crafted in his memory from the Gimblett Gravels vineyards, the Jewelstone is predominantly perfectly ripened Cabernet Sauvignon (74%) and Merlot (26%). Aged in premium French Oak Barrels, this wine will cellar gracefully for 10-20 years.
Watching the early morning light play on the stony soils of our finest vineyards, it was once said every stone is a jewel. Providing warmth and unparalleled flavour to these special hand selected wines, a tribute to our pioneering winemaking Missionaries. Their inspiration is a legacy we continue.
