This wine produced in the region of Fronton which is near Toulouse, and comprised of Negrette, (to which nearly half of Fronton is planted) Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, is meaty and full but with just enough ripe fruit to level out the earth and tannic structure. Deeply extracted in the glass the wine shows a gorgeous dark purple colour, the nose is all dark fruit and dried herbs, the palate is firm, full and assertive. A wine built for hearty sauces and meat dishes.

Chateau Laurou
This Frontonnaise property was taken over in 1997 by Guy Salmona. It is located close to the Tarn and covers an area of 45 hectares of vines in the Fronton AOC. The estate has been run as organic since it's conversion in 2009.
