This very typical wine reveals a harmonious combination of “garrigue” aromas with hints of spices (including curry) and smoke. Crisp and hearty on the palate, with plenty of freshness and a dense but gentle tannin structure that reveals red berry and pepper flavours. This “Classic” wine’s fullness and freshness make it an ideal accompaniment to a wide range of foods, especially grilled meats (lamb in particular) and Mediterranean dishes.

Languedoc-Roussillon
Stretching over a substantial area of land from the Massif Central to the eastern edges of the Pyrenees, the Languedoc Roussillon wine region is an amalgamation of different types of terrain, altitude, and terroir producing a wide range of quality wines since Roman times. The soils and climate of the area combine to make an ideal environment for vine growing, which is why the Languedoc Roussillon wine region accounts for about 40% of France’s total wine production. Because of this, there are many hidden gems to be found in this region from Vin de Pays producers as well as the more renowned AOC chateaux.
