The colour is garnet red and the perfume complex and ample. Taste the huge character, velvety and austere. Full-bodied, enveloping and elegant, with silky tannins and great freshness. Its finish is pleasant, with a good balance between fruit and oak.
Pairs well with ravioli, meat and seasoned cheese.

Piemonte
The Piedmont (or Piemonte) wine region is Italy’s largest – the thick fogs of the region known as nebbia, giving rise to Piedmont’s signature grape variety, Nebbiolo. Found in the famous Barolo and Barbaresco wines, the difficult grape produces some truly spectacular wines when handled correctly. Piedmont is more than a one trick pony though, and other red grapes fare particularly well in the region, notably Barbera and Dolcetto. Cortese is the main white grape of the region and goes into the wonderfully floral and finessed Gavi wines.
