Tasting Notes

Bottled after about 14 months of aging. This wine is the one of the best of the Belland wines. Expansize and majestic, a classic expression of this Grand Cru. Only about 100 cases are produced annually.

Other Notes

1996 marked a milestone in the history of the Belland family holdings as Adrien Belland officially retired and the domaine continues today under the leadership of Jean-Claude Belland. Adreien and Jean-Claude have been working together for many years and have developed their wines towards a richer, less tannic style over the last few years by not filtering most of the wines. Their holdings range from Santenay to Chambertin and the wines are all of exceptional quality.
