Tasting Notes
The 2006 vintage of Chateau d'Armailhac is fully in line with previous years. A beautiful red color with glints of ruby, this vintage has a nice freshness to the structure. The nose is powerful and has a subtle blend of ripe red fruits that begins to melt and leads to notes of toast and vanila. In the mouth, Armailhac 2006 Castle offers a beautiful construction: a sharp attack followed by a good range and a finesse evolution. The tannins are silky, the palate is racy. There is juicy fruits, enhanced by subtle oak notes. The finish is long and elegant.
