Tasting Notes

Subtle, complex and persistent bouquet composed of candid fruit aromas and notes of port, together with hawthorn and wild flowers. The vanilla-flavoured tannins of the wood develop generously and support aromas of candied fruit. The only cognac in Grande Champagne which can claim the name Chateau since the harvest is distilled, aged and bottled in the Chateau.

Other Notes

Chateau de Fontpinot won the trophy and the Gold Medal in the XO category at the Wines & Spirits Challenge 1998.
