| An exuberant and sweet aroma, with warmth and a lot of mild caramel.
In the mouth it is warm, velvety, round and mild with nuances of caramel, raisins, preserved fruit, vanilla and nuts. It has a long aftertaste that is mild and sweet. |

| Joao Henrique Andresen was born on the 29th January 1826 on the island of Fohr in the North Sea. At the age of 14, like many other Danes, he travelled to Port, his first destination and soon to be his last. After falling in love with the charm of the place, he decided to adopt the portugese nationality, where he stayed and began a new life. In 1845 the young entrepreneur began the painstaiking task of founding the “Maison de Porto” which still carries his name. After his death he left behind the memory of an incredibly honest, passionate man. |
