In the Loire Valley, in the very heart of the Saumur vineyards, the Caves Louis de Grenelle produce their sparkling wines, made from local grapes, according to an ancestral process of wine-making. It is in old quarries, dug out of the tuffeau stone (limestone) that the Saumur wine matures and takes on its special character. The wines are slowly developed and aged in the deep cellars carefully following the traditional method of second in-bottle fermentation.
Rewarded with many medals, whose number increases every year, this family business, combining tradition and modernity, has gained a high reputation and developed stronglinks with customers throughout the world.
