| A great Fins Bois Cognac from a top producer. Presented in a wooden box this 1966 vintage makes an ideal gift. Surrounding the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Borderies is the first of the wooded areas: The Fins Bois. It provides almost 40% of all cognac production and its eaux-de-vie are fast maturing and robust. Being such a large area there are significant local variations in the soil conditions. Generally the soil is more clay over a hard limestone sub-soil. |

| The house of Francois de Marange is located in the heart of Grande Champagne area in Cognac. For eight generations the family has been producing some of the best Cognacs from the best growths available. Their Cognacs are aged in Limousin oak casks hidden from the light in cellars that are particularly humid, which gives an exceptional smoothness and mellowness to their Cognacs. |
